Baccarat Rouge 540 is the result of an encounter between Maison Francis Kurkdjian and the Baccarat crystalworks, whose 250th anniversary is celebrated with this eau de parfum that evokes both the transparency and density of crystal. Francis Kurkdjian sought to convey the poetic alchemy of crystal-making in this woody, ambery floral fragrance by devising a unique creation based on 3 breaths. At the top, the airy facets of jasmine flowers and the brilliance of saffron evoke the breath of air. They are joined by an accord evoking ambergris and dry woody tones embodying the breath of minerals. Finally, the breath of fire is suggested by the addictive sensuality of ethyl maltol, a note with gourmand accents.
