Medicom Toy is a Japanese brand created in 1996 that specializes in the creation of collectible toys and derivative products. The brand is best known for its cartoon-style bear-like figurines that has being producing since 2001 named Be@rbrick. Medicom Toy has developed numerous international licenses including Disney, Star Wars, Toei and it also produces figurines from artists like Kaws. All of its products are produced in limited numbers and should therefore be considered as works of art rather than simply toys.
